Passion Fruit Mango Smoothie

This is probably my favorite smoothie: it’s tangy in the most amazing way! I’m mildly obsessed with passion fruit and frozen passion fruit is easy to find in grocery stores nowadays. I found frozen passion fruit cubes and pulp in the freezer section at whole foods.

It’s loaded with Vitamin C and the dragon fruit adds a nice boost of fiber which I try to include daily for the boys and myself.

It‘s delish and a great grab and go breakfast on the run.

Passion Fruit Mango Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 large frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1 small dragon fruit, flesh scooped out
  • 1/4 c frozen passion fruit
  • 3/4 c choice of milk (coconut, almond, or even coconut water)
  • 1/2 inch knob of fresh turmeric
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Optional: plant based vanilla protein powder

Instructions

  1. To a high powered blender add the above ingredients.
  2. Blend: starting with the lowest setting working your way up to the highest setting until a smooth consistency is reached - approximately 1 minute.
  3. Pour into glasses, garnish with fresh fruit, and serve.
