For the Strawberry Layer: add strawberries and sugar to a bowl and gently mash together with a potato masher. Please note: for a smoother consistency you can run the strawberries and sugar through a blender quickly.
For the Matcha Layer: add matcha, sugar, and hot water. Using the hand held milk frother, blend for 30 seconds. Set aside.
Add milk to a container, and using the hand held milk frother, begin to froth your milk until you reach your desired consistency. Set aside.
Add strawberry purée to the bottom of a tall glass.
