Glow Green Smoothie

This green smoothie is a great way to start off the week - especially if you need a bit of a reset after an indulgent weekend. Nutrient dense and delicious - it is quickly becoming one of my fave green smoothies.

I often double the recipe and keep in the fridge for me and boys for a couple of days worth of smoothies that the boys can just grab and go. It’s nutrient dense and great when we are running to after school programs. I find it a great way to get their greens in actually.

It‘s delicious and a clutch recipe to add into the rotation.

Glow Green Smoothie

A greens filled smoothie that is delicious and a perfectly healthy way to start the day!

Ingredients

  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1/2 large English cucumber
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 1-1/2 c fresh spinach
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 lime of lemon, peeled
  • 1-1/2 c coconut water

Equipment needed:

  • High powered blender
  • cutting board
  • knife

Instructions

  1. Add the above ingredients into a high powered blender.
  2. Blend until smooth - approximately 1 minute.
  3. Pour in glass and serve immediately.
