Iced Turmeric Latte

Ingredients
- 14 oz milk
- 1/2 inch knob of fresh turmeric
- 1/2 inch knob of fresh ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground vanilla bean powder
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 star anise
- Heavy pinch of black pepper
- 2 shots of espresso
- Ice
Instructions
- Add the all of the ingredients (except the espresso and ice) into a saucepan and bring just to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Strain and let cool in the refrigerator.
- Add ice to a glass, pour over espresso shots, and add turmeric milk.
